Terms of Use & Submission Terms

These Terms govern your use of SellYourCardsMD.com and any sports-card submission you send to Sell Your Cards MD. By using the website or submitting cards, you agree to these Terms.
1. No obligation to sell or buy
Submitting cards does not require you to sell them, and it does not require Sell Your Cards MD to purchase them. We may decline any submission, choose not to make an offer, or stop discussions at any time before a transaction is finalized.
2. Asking prices, offers, and counteroffers
Your asking price is the amount you would like to receive for the items submitted. If we indicate that we accept your asking price or send an offer or counteroffer, that communication is based on the information and images available at the time.
Any proposed purchase remains subject to reasonable verification of the actual cards, ownership, authenticity, condition, quantity, grading labels, serial numbers, and other material details. If the physical items materially differ from the submission, we may revise or withdraw an offer before the transaction is completed.
3. When a transaction is final
A sale is not complete merely because a submission was made or an offer was communicated. A transaction becomes final only when the parties agree on the items and price and the cards are delivered or exchanged and payment is completed, unless the parties expressly agree otherwise in writing.
4. Your representations
By submitting cards, you represent that:
- You own the submitted items or are fully authorized by the owner to sell them.
- The information, photos, descriptions, quantities, grades, serial numbers, and other details you provide are accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- The items are not stolen, counterfeit, subject to an undisclosed lien or ownership dispute, or otherwise unlawfully possessed.
- You have the right to provide any images or other content you upload.
5. Authenticity and condition
Online photos cannot always establish authenticity, alteration, restoration, trimming, surface condition, print defects, or other characteristics. We may inspect cards in person, request additional photos or information, or decline a transaction if concerns arise.
6. Graded cards
If a card is submitted in a third-party grading holder, our review may consider the grading label and holder, but Sell Your Cards MD does not guarantee or independently certify the accuracy of any third-party grade or authentication determination.
7. Meetings and local transactions
For certain purchases, we may offer to meet at an agreed location or, when appropriate, come to you. Any meeting arrangement is subject to availability, location, safety considerations, and mutual agreement. Either party may decline or reschedule a proposed meeting before the transaction is finalized.
8. Communications
By submitting your contact information, you authorize Sell Your Cards MD to contact you by email or phone regarding your submission, offers, counteroffers, scheduling, or related transaction matters. This is transactional communication connected to your submission.
9. Website availability and errors
We try to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that the website will always be error-free. We may correct errors, update content, change features, or suspend access when reasonably necessary.
10. Prohibited use
You may not use the website to submit unlawful content, impersonate another person, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the website, upload malicious code, submit items you are not authorized to sell, or engage in fraud or deceptive conduct.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sell Your Cards MD will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website or a submission. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
12. Indemnification
You agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or expenses arising from your material breach of these Terms, including a false representation that you own or are authorized to sell submitted items, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the website after an update is subject to the then-current Terms.
